How to Be Like Paul

When you look at some of the great people of the Bible, you think, “Wow, I wish I could have their faith! I wish I could be like them and not struggle so much following God.” You think, “How could I lead a million people out of Egypt like Moses did? I can’t even get my kids to listen to me.” Or, “Man, Paul had such tremendous faith, he was imprisoned, beaten, shipwrecked, chased out of town—so many problems but he never abandoned God.”

Okay, all that is true. Except for one thing. They did nothing worthy of being chosen by God. He created them specifically for the purpose they were assigned. It was all God. The difference between them and you is like the difference between a golf cart and a Maserati.  They are doing what they were each created to do. So be at ease and fulfill the purpose you were created for.
